Taking Risks

So I first started blogging 3 years ago in 2008. I had just had a miscarriage and needed to vent. I wrote 2 blogs and felt like I was putting myself "out there". In a nutshell, I felt like I was losing my anonymity.

Three years later, becoming a Certified Professional Coach I discovered so much about the human mind...why we think the way we do. By nature, we gravitate to situations in life that are comfortable. Stepping outside of our Homeostasis (comfort zone) is a process. Our subconscious tells us to be weary of change. This would explain why so many of us are afraid of change. At times, change can be more work. This understanding made me realize that I do not want to be "that person" whose life is limited due to fear of change.

I feel even more passionately about my role as a Life Coach. I want to inspire, encourage and motivate. I want to make a difference and show people that they can be successful in life. Coaching for Calm was born out of passion. I have made the conscious choice to step outside of my comfort zone and begin a journey that will have it's ups and downs but at the end of the day it is MY journey. So as an effective Life Coach, I leave you with a few questions....
  • what do you want to achieve in your life
  • are you concerned with what others think
  • are you living your best life
As it's been said, if you're not living, you're dying so CHOOSE to LIVE!

Encouraging and Inspiring,
AM
